--Our Mountain Laurel Weaving Studio-- Welcome to River Road Farm NC. We are a small "Pick Your Own" Berry Farm. We have both Blueberries and Blackberries. *****NEW FOR 2012*****Handwoven Items***** We are excited to add handwoven items made right here on our own looms. These items are one of a kind and make wonderful heirloom gifts. If you do not see the exact item you are looking for, let us help you pick out the color, design, and material you want. Give us a call. We would love to make something for you. We only practice organic methods. You can eat our berries right off the bush without worrying about harmful chemicals! We do not weigh you before you begin picking!! We want you and the whole family to enjoy our berries.
In addition to berries we are also beekeepers. Be sure to ask about our Wildflower Honey and of course our Sourwood Honey.
We encourage you to bring the whole family when you come to pick. We want everyone to experience picking your own local food. Not shipped in from across the state, or another state, or even from another country, but picked fresh locally by your own hands.
